Why the blog name: From the months of February to July 2004, Jacob and I hiked the entire Appalachian Trail. As customary per trail culture we had a trail name: The Solemates. While we both tend to ramble on foot - I would say I am the wordy one of our relationship. Enjoy my ramblings about ramblings.
